illinois

Yesterday we left Fort Whyne, and drove the rv to Nappenee, Indiana. We didnt stay in Nappenee just stoped then left. We went to look around the Newmar dealer but when we got there, they said that they arent doing any tours of the factory yet. So as we were coming out of the dealer there was this place called Amish Acres. And my mom wanted to go do the tour of the place, so we did and that. My mom thought it was cool but i thought that it was the biggest waste of my time. It was so boring the only fun part was, well there were alot of rabbits and big turkeys all over the place. It was really fun throwing rocks at the turkeys then they make alot of noise, but i also liked chasing all the rabbits. After all of that we stoped at a state park in Illinois, just outside of chicago. But while we were on the road heading there my mom asked me should we stay at the statepark or at this very nice campground. Well i said the campground but mom wanted the statepark because in the book it said for one night $8. So when we got there we hooked every thing up and then we went to go pay and there were two problems, first is the bathhouse isnt working, then she said it was $23. And that includes no showers or cable or water. So i think we should have gone with my choice. plus the other place had free golf, water, and cable for $20.

football and indiana

Yesterday we went to the Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio. It was so cool i got to see the complete Steelers history, and i got to see all the hall of famers. Me and my dad did the quarterback challenge. What you have to do is throw the ball from 15 yards out and try and make through a 13 inch hole. My dad missed the hole each time by 2 feet, all three times my football bounced of the side, so you can say that i am more accurate.

Today we left Ohio and headed for indiana. We are staying just out side of Fort Whyne. (i dont know how to spell it). We are staying at a campground that is right on a lake. i dont know the name of this campground, this is a nother small old campground that not very many people stay at. But they do have mini golf, my dad beat me twice by 1 point each time. But thats just because the whole thing was falling apart. Tomorrow we are going to the Newmar dealer so we can watch them being made.

day 5 ohio

Holy crap is it hot. Today we left for Canton, Ohio. We came here to see the Football Hall of Fame. Right now it is 89 degrees outside. I just came in from playing with my RC car, and there is this huge rock pile outside and my car just went right over the top with ease. This campground that we are staying at is called, Country Side RV campground. I like this campground, but i still don't know if it has a bathhouse, if it does then its a 4 out of 5 stars if not then 3 out of 5. So we'll see. Oh it turns out that it does have a bathhouse so cool.

Steelers day

Today was so fun. We went to the Steelers stadium, and i bought the Superbowl football, a framed picture of Troy Polamalu, a picture of the whole team for free, the newspaper from the super bowl, and a poster of the Steelers for free. We went and saw the Steelers locker room which is huge it was almost 100 feet long and 35 feet wide. The only bad thing was that none of the players showed up. I mean this was supposed to be a fan appreciation day but none of the players where there to appreciate us. I got to see the field and all the seats was so cool. But the whole place was packed there was about 20,000 people which it seemed like more when it is so hot. Today it was 88 degrees, but it was windy.

going in to pittsburgh

Today we went all around Pittsburgh. We ate at primanti's, its a burger place that has been in Pittsburgh since 1933. I had the cheese steak, and what they do is take the cheese steak and put fries in the burger and Cole slaw. And man does it taste good. One street over from the burger place, is a long road that has little Steelers merchandise stores. I bought the new Terrible Towel and a huge picture of the winning Superbowl catch. I bought all of this for $10 that's a good deal. We also went to Heinz field but we couldn't get in, but tomorrow we will because we already got tickets. So we are good to go.

day 3 pittsburgh

Today we left Ohiopyle at 11:00 am and headed for Pittsburgh. We are staying at this neat little campground. They used it for bluegrass area but then they converted it to a campground. This campground is on top of a man made campground, its called mountain top campground. It has amazing views, i would give it 3.5 out of 5 stars. The only bad thing is that it doesn't have a bathhouse. we went to Pittsburgh mills (which is a big mall type thing) and i bought another Steelers jersey and a Steelers book and a pedometer. All for $30 not bad.

day 2

Today we left from Louisa VA and we made it to the PA line. We are staying 40 miles past the line at a state park. Its called Ohiopyle (i know its a weird name). Like other state parks they aren't that good, for this state park i would give it a 2 out of 5 stars. The only cool thing is the hiking trails, which i love to take walks while i run my RC car. Tomorrow (the tab button doesn't work on blogs) we are going to head out of here and we are going to Pittsburgh, just to the right of Pittsburgh just to be exacted. After we arrive at Pittsburgh we are going to go sight seeing all around Pittsburgh. Then on Saturday we are going to Heinz field for the fan appreciation day. so we got tons of stuff to do. GO STEELERS

first day

Today we left in our RV, starting our four month RV trip. We only went 4 hours to an old campground that nobody stays at. Its called small country campground. I would give it 3 out of 5 stars. And it is about to pour down rain. It is starting to get dark because of the rain and the temperature is dropping. But this campground is somewhere to sleep so it is ok. And we are having sloppy joes. So i am happy. Got to go things to do

first things

On April 21 we are leaving for a 4-5 month trip in our RV. Here are a couple of the places that we will be going. The very first place is Pittsburgh, Pa. You know Steelers country. we are going to the Steelers appreciation day at Heinz Field. go Steelers. Then from there we are going to the Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio. And that's as far as we got. But i will update as soon as we get something.
